A2 Pizza Box No Border- Tutorial

Hi friends,
Today I have the second version of the Pizza Box. This one will hold up to four A2 (standard sized) cards depending on layers/ embellishment. I'm using my Scor-Pal, but it is not required to complete the box.

Here's what you'll need:
one 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock
Scor-Pal or Paper Trimmer
Scoring tool
Strong adhesive of your choice

Let's get on with the deets:

Cut your cardstock to 7" x 10 1/2". Score at 1/2" on all 4 sides

Turn your paper so the 10 1/2" is at the top and score at 5" and 5 1/2".

Along the 10 1/2" sides, cut on the scored lines up to where the two lines meet. Trim your tabs as shown:You may wish to decorate while the box if flat.

Fold all score lines before you assemble the box. This will make it easier to assemble & will create crisp, clean edges on the box. Add adhesive to the tabs & adhere them to the inside of the box & you're done!

Here's my completed project. I decided to make some personalized stationery for myself. I used the beautiful Wisteria Paper by Basic Grey (luuuuv!- lots of purples) I also used Papertrey Ink stamps to personalize the note cards. The note cards were made by cutting 8 1/2"x 11" cardstock into fourths. I made a total of 16 note cards, but I could probably fit 20 to the very top. I like! I like!

I'm thinking you're familiar with creating the Pizza Box from yesterday's tutorial so I wasn't as detailed with the assembly of this one. But if you missed it, you can find it here.

Thanks so much for hangin' out with me today! I hope you give one of these Pizza Boxes a try- you'll love making them :) You can make uber cute gifts with them! I've got loads of places to go today, so I'll see you next time-- Gotta Go!

  3. Gosh, I didn't mean "simple" in a bad way. I reread my post, and I was concerned it might appear negative. I didn't mean that at all. I meant "not bogged down or cluttered."
