Birthday JUGS

Hello there friends,
Today I have a card I made for a friend's birthday using this week's JUGS color challenge.

I had this collection of Graphic 45 papers so I had to play along!
Here's my card:

 The Deets:
I colored this beautiful stamp (Peddler's Pack) with my Prisma Pencils & Gamsol. Whaaaat? Stop the madness! Yes, I actually used something other than my Copics :) I'm quite rusty, so I need to spend more time practicing. These are really large stamps, but they're beautifully detailed. The edge around has been glittered & I faux stitched around the card edge.

Here's a closer peek at the glittered edge:

Whenever I use stick pins, I usually trim them a bit with the wire cutter whatchamacallit (from the hubby's toolbox) & add a bit of Glossy Accents to the tip to seal it --->that way the recipients won't poke themselves :) We want them to ooooh & aaaaah, not oooh & owww, right? Well, I couldn't find the cutter so I haven't trimmed them yet. Hope I can find it before I send it out to her :{

Thanks for peeking today! I'll be back with the blog candy winner later :)
Gotta Go!

  1. What a HUGE stamp and the colouring doesn't look rusty at all! It looks perfect and I think Copics could have been too vivid for this, it's beautiful
