Hi friends,
Today I wanted to share something with you. My blog pal, Mary, has THIS POST on her blog about her niece, Julie, who passed away at 31 years of age from cervical cancer. As some of you may know, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was 7 years old, so this is a cause that is very close to my heart. If you would please, take a moment & leave a comment on her blog. For every comment received during the month of February, Mary will donate $1 to the American Cancer Society. This card is in memory of Julie and the many other women who have fought, or are fighting cancer.
It's an easel style card. I used turquoise foil paper because turquoise is the awareness color for cervical cancer. I used parts of the Sizzix Scrap Pink Kit (texture plate & ribbon sizzlits die) to create the card. The butterfly is the stopper.
Here's the card fully opened:
Thanks so much for helping & please, please, please stop by Mary's blog & leave a comment. Thank you :)
