It's Knott CAS

Hi friends,
Today I'm sharing the invitations I made for my son's birthday party. We're taking Jordan & six of his friends to spend the day at Knott's Berry Farm. Like the crazy woman that I am, I thought I would make his invitations instead of buying them from the store.
Here it is:
I used my Cricut to cut out the card which was the ticket image from the Carousel cart. I welded 2 together on my Gypsy to create the card base. The roller coaster also came from that cart & "Celebrate" from the Sophisticated cart. The ticket sentiment comes from the PTI stamp set & die called Just the Ticket.

Here's a peek of the innies:
I cut the number 12 from the Old West cart. The stamps are also PTI- Big Birthday Wishes. On the right side of the card, is another ticket that contains all the party info. The ticket strip holds it to the card, but it does slide out.
Going back to the crazy woman part, I intended to make some CAS cards & then I'm not sure what happened! Ugh... they took much longer to make than what I had planned, cuz I kept adding more & more---> hence the crazy woman part :)

Fortunately, I only had to make six.
Oh Phooey! I only see 5 invitations! Ack! If I don't find the other one... we'll only be inviting FIVE kiddos cuz Mama isn't making any more! Ughhhhh...

ETA: the 6th ticket was found :) all is well in the world once again!

Here are a few challenges I'll ride along with:
Celebrate the Occasion: #57 Child's birthday
Papertake Weekly: Anything Goes
Throwback Thursday: Cricut Use any cart

Thanks so much for peeking!
Gotta Go!

  3. Your son will be the envy of his friends. That is an exceptional invitation and awesome party day.

The ticket shape is fab to begin with, and the roller coaster and ticket embellies make it extra special. Did you find the 6th invite? I'm sure Mama will be making another one if necessary :)
