Hello friends,
Good news- I can finally hear out of my right ear again. The ear medicine the doctor gave me finally started kicking in :) I haven't been feeling so great so I haven't been up to anything crafty lately. But I did have a sympathy card to make for one of my fellow teachers who lost his Dad earlier this week.
Here it is:
I really tried to keep it simple ---> emphasis on the "simple." Ok, so maybe it's not quite a CAS card, but it's pretty simple in my book :) The cut out detail was achieved with a MS anywhere punch called Caning Pattern. It was a little difficult to get every single one to perfectly match the one next to it, but I really liked the design it creates. The papers are K& Company Julianne. I added a bow, pearls, my Viva pen, & a flower from Recollections. See pretty simple!
I have a big wedding to go to this weekend for a good friend of mine & I've had this crazy idea swirling in my head for her card. Now, I just need some time to work on it before Saturday! Yikes!
Thanks so much for peeking!
Just a couple more sleeps & hurray it's the weekend!
Gotta Go!

They stopped the Magnolia Christmas monthly hop, bummer. I should really still try to do one every month, I know I'll regret how lazy I've been come December!
Glad the medicine is finally starting to work. Hope you are feeling better before the wedding.
