With Sympathy

Hi friends,
Thank you so much for your birthday wishes! Yes, this year I hit the big 22 :0  I mean last year (and for a few years before that) I was 21, so this year I decided to let the odometer roll on another year ;) The funny thing is at the beginning of the school year when I introduce myself to my new batch of students, I tell them I'm 21 yrs old & they don't even flinch! YEAH!!!!!!! I'm going to ride that wave for as long as I can- ya know it! OK, sure this is the same group of kids who also believe in Santa & the tooth fairy ;) (Hee! Hee!)

On to today's card...
My friend asked if I would make a sympathy card & this is what I created for her.

Here are the innies:
After taking the pics, I decided to add some little punched white flowers to the silhouette branches. (I was too lazy to retake pics, sorry :(  Making sympathy cards is hard for me & even harder still is finding the right words to say, so that's why I love this particular stamp set from PTI. There are several beautiful sentiments that perfectly convey a message of sympathy. I also bought the accompanying sets of sentiments: for a child and for a pet.

Thanks so much for peeking today!
Gotta Go!

  3. But, what they don't tell you is that they already think 21 is older than dirt. ;-)

Beautiful sympathy card. I have been struggling to make one the last few days myself.
