Easter Garden Teacher Gift

Hellooo friends,
Today I have this carrot garden to share with you:
View from the top:

This was very easy to make thanks to my Cricut. It's going to my son's teacher :)
Here are the deets:

GARDEN BASE: Cut a green sheet of cardstock to 8x8.
Score at 2 1/2" on each side:
Punch grass border around all 4 sides. Cut on the vertical score lines up to where the 2 lines meet.
Add adhesive and assemble your box

It should look like this:

Next, I cut out 4 fences at 3" from Songbird cart.

Cut off 3 birds. Color the last bird (YR23 used). Add foam tape on the back.

Now add them to each panel of your box base
And you're done! Now just embellish it as you'd like :)
I added edible grass to the basket.

CARROT:
Cut cake box at 5 1/2" on Bags, Tags, Boxes & more cart. Add adhesive to tabs as shown here:
Assemble your box.

Punch hole to thread ribbon through.
Fill it with Jelly Bellies! Ummmmm, love Jelly Bellies! Yes, they must be Jelly Bellies :)
Here's the finished carrot:
See? Easy & cute! So just put your carrot in your garden box & you're done!
I added a Prima flower & dew drop to the center. Simple embellies.
BTW, I cut the ribbon shorter so the "stem" would stand up like the one in previous pics.

Don't forget to get all your Prima flowers, Dew Drops, & Cricut goodies at YMH Store.

Thanks for peeking! I'll be back with my Spring/Easter cards a little later.
Gotta Go!

  11. "Songbird" is the name of the Cricut cartridge. It is not a template but an image cartridge for the Cricut electronic die cutter.
