No mistakes, Just opportunities

Hi ya friends,
I thought I'd share the thank you card I made for my son's girlfriend. For Mother's Day, she was so kind and gave me a Starbucks tumbler. She had one a couple of weeks ago & I told her I liked it. She remembered & gifted me with one. *Ü*

Here's the pic of the card & the tumbler:
I die cut the tumbler from gold cardstock & sponged in some red ink to match the tumbler.

I thought I was top cheddar with my cleverness until I noticed the bendy straw... the real one has a straight straw. If I'm one thing, it's a stickler for details. So I carefully tried to remove the bendy straw and replace it with a straight ripped a little...

What to do? Start over? Try to put the bendy straw back? Noooo! I thought, "WWKD" (What Would Karli Do) A HA!!! Add some embellishments, of course *Ü*

I cut a strip of cardstock and added a couple more little hearts. Like I always say..."There are no mistakes in card-making. Just opportunities to embellish." *Ü*

Thanks so much for peeking today!
