19 Years and Counting!

Hi friends,
19 years ago on this day, after 36 hours of labor, a 10 pound turkey was born! Today, my oldest turns 19! No big birthday presents because Mom has given him the gift of paying his college tuition, books, and all expenses--- pretty much! So tonight, we're going to take him out for dinner.

Here's his card:
This was a pretty simple card for me (I guess those CAS classes are paying off!) I used the stars from Accent It- Rock & Roll Dienamics and the Stacking stars Dienamics from MFT. I took a strip of scrap paper & wrote 19 in each of the dots to personalize it.

Here's a closer peek:
I made sure to have the star focus on the dot with "19th". The sentiment comes from the Journal It- Playlist stamp set also from MFT which is heat embossed in white.

Here's a peek of the innies:
I luuuuuv this birthday stamp set! It is fantastic! It is called Birthday Sentiments by MFT. I got it free last month with my order but it's worth buying.

I used this week's MFT sketch:

Thanks again for stopping by. I'm off to celebrate & have some cake!
Tootles!

  4. Happy 19th birthday to you son Karli! I hope that your family celebration was wonderful. It is always so hard to believe that the years go by to quickly. My granddaughter will be one tomorrow and it seems only yesterday that my son and I were going to the hospital.
