Hi there friends,
It's the last week of school for me so needless to say, I've been a busy little teacher! I have a few students who I wanted to give a little gift for all-around awesomeness *Ü*
I created 16 gift card holders in all--- 12 for In-N-Out and 4 for Starbucks. So, with so many to make (all in only a couple of days) I must have kept them CAS, right? Well... you decide...
Here's the Starbucks gift card design:
I used the Cool Cup Dienamics and Stay Cool stamp set (My Favorite Things). I die cut the Frappuccino cup out of acetate and used my Adirondack Alcohol Inks to add the color. I love how that gives it translucency! I stamped the sentiment (which reads, "You Are Sweet") with Olive Green Staz-On ink. I used a Starbucks stamp I bought while in Las Vegas years ago, to create the custom pattern paper.
Here's the innie:
and a pic of all four:
I thought these came out pretty cool! *Ü*
Next are the ones I created for the In-N-Out gift cards:
I used the Fast Food Set Sizzlits (Sizzix) for the burger and fries. I thought it would take me too long to die cut each part from colored cardstock so to make life a bit easier, I used my Copics to do some quick coloring. I used Squeezed Lemonade and Scattered Straw Distress inks on the fries. I also added some Glossy Accents to the burger to give it the look of juiciness *Ü*
Here's a closer peek:
The gingham paper I created with the Gingham Backdrops stamp (Lawn Fawn). The "Thanks" die cut is from the Sentimental Ellements Dies (Avery Elle). I think you'll be delighted to know I used my MISTI a lot--- I mean A LOT to create these. I was sooooo glad to have it! Yes, you were all right...
and the innie:
Here's a bunch:
And the finishing touch on the back:
This is how I personalize all of my cards. I bought & created this custom stamp through expressionery.com, in case you wanted to create your own for your handcrafted creations *Ü*
I also had a few Graduation cards to make which I'll be sharing soon. I thought this was plenty for one post, lol.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today!
Until next time, friends...

Tootles,

Even without a gift card, these are a treat! I don' even drink coffee, but I love the translucent cup and Starbucks paper you created. The burger and fries do look yummy, and the custom-created gingham paper is amazing! Glad you are liking your Misti.
ReplyDeleteThat cup is wicked cool! What a neat way to share a gift card!
