The Best Things in Life

Hi there friends,
As the 7 dwarfs sang, "I owe, I owe, so off to work I go!" I'm singing the same tune cuz I'm back to work tomorrow. Since we had 2 lovely weeks off for Winter break, I know I'm going to arrive to see sleepy heads still half asleep, grumbling, & whining---> then, the students arrive! Hehehe kidding Ü

Well, I know it's been a little quiet on the western front, but I've been working on organizing "Studio K", a.k.a my craft room. I get many peeps asking to see how I organize my little craft space, so maybe that might be happening... sometime... in the near future...just sayin'...

But for today, I have a card to share.
Here it is:
I used my old favorite paper- Moonrise by SEI and my new favorite embossing folder from the Cuttlebug Decorative Tile set- this 4 pack of folders is a winner! The beautiful sentiment comes from the Vertical Greetings II from MFT which I heat embossed in gold. I added a Rolled Rose to the seam binding bow.

Here's another peek at it:
I used this week's MFT sketch:
I'll be playing along in the following challenges:
Crazy 4 Challenges: Ribbons & Bows
Crafty Catz: Anything Goes
Stampin' for the Weekend: Anything Goes
Crafty Creations: Anything Goes

Now, I've gotta get ready for tomorrow...
Gotta go!

  1. Beautiful! Love the sentiment and the L.O. You are so funny about returning to work- the kids have so much energy! Did you get new stuff for your creative space and need to re-organize to fit it in...?

  2. Beautiful card! Love the papers and EF. The sentiment is awesome!

  3. Beautiful sentiment, gorgeous card, thanks for joining in with our challenge this week at CRAFTY CATZ x Carol

  4. A beautiful card with a lovely sentiment. Thanks for sharing Karli!

  5. so elegant!! Thank you so much for playing along with us at Stampin for the Weekend and good luck in the challenge.

  6. OMG! Love this sentiment, just gave me chills. Going to run and order it. This is stunning (may need that e/f pack, too, lol). This trip to your blog probably cost me about $60.00, but the inspiration is priceless my friend. The embossing, seambinding and rolled rose, oh so elegant, love everything about it!

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment :) So appreciated!
