Just call me Rusty

Hi Ya friends!
I finally got a little craft time today & decided to ink up a couple of stamps I haven't had a chance to play with & join in a few challenge blogs I've missed playing along with.
Here's my card:
Please ignore my coloring :( It's been a long time since I last used my Copics & I'm so totally rusty :(
I luuuv this Maggie: Loving Bridal Couple. They way they're holding each other is simply sweet. Although she looks a little preggers to me. Hmmm... maybe she got started on that honeymoon early! Heehee ;)
I decided to try using some liquid applique on the roses to see how it would look & I really like the way it came out :) It was a lot faster that coloring them! I added Stickles to the centers for added sparkle as well as to her shoes & hair adornment. I'm not sure what I want to do with that background yet so I left that uncolored for now.
This is an easel card so let me show you the innies:
Simple. I used the deco fan MS punch for the border. I punched both sides of the paper to get that look & then added pearls to the centers.

I had one more card I wanted to finish & share, but I just found out I have to report for Jury Duty tomorrow :(  I wonder if they mind me bringing my crop rolling totes with me ;) It's soooooooo boring waiting all day in the jury room. I really hope they end up not needing me.

So here are those challenges:
Magnolia Down Under: Easel card  (yeah, a real stretch for me ;)
Cute Card Thursday: Whatevah!
Creative Card Crew: Cute & girlie

Thanks so much for peeking today!
Gotta Go!

  4. Well if that's rusty, then I want to be rusty too. This card looks amazing, I haven't really looked at that stamp, it is so cute the way they are holding each other. I think I'll be ordering that one, thanks for the great inspiration as always. Good luck with the unpacking. And I say show up for jury duty with the cropper hopper in tow, they might send you home right away, LOL!
